These secret beauty recipes are honey intensive!

Honey not only taste amazing, but it also has a bunch of great health benefits! When you are down with a sore throat, you would have used manuka honey as a treatment at least once in your life and little do you know, it even treats burns!

But it's not just for healing you internally, honey is great for beauty as well! A common ingredient in almost every series of sheet mask for big beauty brands, the easy accessibility of honey in our own home makes for a great ingredient for some beauty DIY! Today, we are going to talk about our top honey beauty DIY recipes!

1) Honey + Olive = The Perfect Hair Conditioner!
Take it to another level with 2 ingredients known to help you have silky looking hair and a healthy scalp! Olive is very commonly used as an ingredient in many shampoos and conditioners. While honey, being an emollient, helps you to keep your hair moisturized.

Combine 1/4 cup of olive oil with 1/2 cup of honey and mix it well to make your very own conditioner! Massage it well into your hair and wrap it all up in a shower cap for at least 30 minutes before shampooing and rinsing it off. Your hair has never looked better!

2) The best recipes are the simplest
Did you know that honey is a natural antibiotic? It's ok, we didn't too! This results in it being able to kill bacteria that cause those horrible pimple outbreaks. The best part of it? It's so simple to use. Simply spread high-quality raw honey across your entire face and leave it on for anytime between 15-60 minutes before washing it off. Ah yes, don't you love beauty solutions when they are at their simplest?

3) Say goodbye to stray hairs!
From waxing to IPL hair removal, the next big fad has to be sugar waxing! What's there not to like about it? Using only natural ingredients, it's almost as effective in removing your hair as going to the salon! It's great that we don't have to deal with wax anymore.

Take 2 teaspoons of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of honey, mixing it in with 1 teaspoon of water. Microwave it until the mixture starts bubbling and turns brown. This part is crucial as you don't want to cook it too long if not, you will have some delicious candy (which we are not complaining about) instead. Let it cool for a short while before applying it over the desired area with a spatula. Using a cloth strip, apply it over your waxed area and press down to make sure it's smoothly on and... PULL!
